GORA Collection Center LLP is supported by the Gujarat Oil Re-refiners Association (GORA), a pioneering consortium of hazardous waste recyclers, setup to promote the responsible collection, management, and recycling of used oil, fostering environmental sustainability and delivering societal benefits.
It is committed to transform valuable hazardous waste resources – Used Oil into useful product under Circular Economy Principles while fully complying with environmental regulations. With a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and regulatory adherence, it will responsibly manage all materials, contributing to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.

Importance of Used Oil Collection Centers
- Provides a legal and safe system for sectors lacking proper disposal methods for used oils.
- Reduces, and ultimately eliminates, illegal dumping, illegal burning, and adulteration by directing used oils to authorized recycling facilities.
- Ensures used oils are collected, recycled, and reintroduced into the production cycle as re-refined base oil (RRBO), supporting sustainability.
- Used oils should be utilized strictly for recycling and not for mixing, burning as fuel, or any other illegal or unsafe activities.
- Adheres to all applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines set by the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEFCC).
- Follows the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework for waste management.
- Proper recording and documentation are maintained for tracking the collection, transportation, and recycling of used oils, ensuring transparency and full compliance with regulatory requirements.
